It was 55 degrees when Rob came in at 12:30 for lunch. It is only September 12. Apparently we are in for a warmer week this week, but I just hate it when Fall taunts me. It’s my favorite season and I think it knows that.
My tomatos are dying now. I have to go out this afternoon after the kids’ naps and collect them all….even the greenones. The vines are just dead.
My eggplants are now blooming! YAY! We shall have eggplants in October! Hurray! Everything is past it’s peak and now it’s just a matter of harvesting, harvesting, harvesting. Then freezing, canning, freezing, canning……
Here is an apron I just finished the other day. I posted it on MJF as well.

and close up

I will have more hopefully tomorrow….
I will also hae a blog about herbal tinctures coming soon, so stick around……..
Until next time…………………….
I love your apron, it is adorable!! I also love the pic with the garden in the background. I love fall also, but it is sorta sad when you have to start cleaning out the gardens. But I do enjoy time to plan for next year in the cold months. Nothing better than a cup of hot tea and some seed catalogs!!
I wish you lots of luck with your new blog

I truly cried a little as I pulled all of the tomato plants today when I did my last harvest. But it is always great to hunker down for the Winter and do my handcrafts instead of having no time for them because I am in the garden so much. I have Stevia to do tomorrow, some to dry and some to do cuttings….we’ll see how that goes. I got this stevia for one dollar a plant on sale and had to nurse it back to health….it’s beautiful now, but man where did it come from and how I got it to be beautiful, I will never know……
I love fall too! I agree with you about the taunting lately – everyone is so happy that 80s are in the forecast for Friday, but I wish it would stay chilly! Warm days, cool nights…can’t wait.
I love the blog and love your aprons. Your cat is precious, what a perfect photo.
